 Luka Chuppi is the Bollywood movie helmed by Laxman Utekar. The movie stars Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon etc., in the lead role. The movie rotates around the Mathura’s Vinod Shukla (Kartik Aryan) who is also known as Guddu. He is a reporter on a local news channel. He has an elder brother in a family who is unmarried and he used to tease him that he will marry first.

Once reporting, he meets a girl named Rashmi Trivedi (Kriti Sanon) who is the daughter of a politician and always opposes live-in culture. Rashmi wants to be a journalist and also wants to get a job in the same news channel. She started working with Guddu and in the meantime they fall in love with each other. Rashmi whose father is against live-in now decides to live-in with Guddu in order to know him better. The lovebirds rent a place in Gwalior. They also made a fake marriage certificate because where they were living, their live-in culture was not allowed. They also got caught by their nosy neighbor but they somehow convinced that they are married.

Meanwhile, Guddu’s parents also got to know about their marriage and Rashmi’s father also agreed to their marriage. But who should explain to them that they are not married? There start the complications and how they keep lying about their relationship status till the end, is what the rest of the story is all about.
