Sreekala made her debut through the serial Kayamkulam Kochunni later acted in supporting roles in several serials , she became popular through her character Sophie in the Malayalam serial "Ente Manasaputri" which was a top rated serial in Malayalam Television. Her other well known serials include Snehatheeram, Ammamanasu, Ulladakkam , Devimahatmyam and she has acted in another superhit serial in Asianet called "Amma" she regained her name mong Malayalam audience. In 2013 , she made her Tamil debut the through the serial Aval. She has acted in some Films ,albums and advertisements.After marriage she took a break for 4 years later she confirmed that she will continue acting even after marriage. In 2016 , she made a comeback through serial Rathrimazha which is still on air. She has acted in more than 40 television serials.

Sreekala was born to Sasidharan Palat Chirakkara & Geetha Sasidharan on 2 August 1984. She married her longtime boyfriend Vipin Kuttikara. They have a son, Samved born on 16 January 2013.^[4] She has done her bachelor's degree in ARTS from SN college Kannur.
