Personal life
Ekroop is from the army background and was born in Delhi. She completed her education from "Convent of Jesus & Mary School " , Ambala. Her family is currently placed in Ambala. She started acting at the age of 13, her first show being on starplus- sajan ghar jana hai. Apart from acting she loves dancing and singing as well, and has won the first prize at a state level competition in dance oraganised by Chandigarh Institute of Performing Arts (CIPA).[citation needed]
