Personal life

Disha Vakani was born in a Gujarati family in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Disha graduated in the Dramatic arts from Gujarat College in Ahmedabad.[5] She married a Mumbai-based chartered accountant named Mayur Padia on 24 November 2015.[10][2] On November 30 she gave birth to a girl. Her brother Mayur Vakani also plays her on-screen brother Sundar in television serial Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
