John Abraham Biography of John Abraham : A famous model turned actor, John Abraham's cute puppy face and muscular body has wooed many. John Abraham got into the glamour world after winning the Gladrags Manhunt Competition. After modeling for many advertisements, companies and agencies, John Abraham made his debut in Bollywood with Jism (2003). The movie earned him a nomination for best debut actor. Though the movie did well at box office, John Abraham's performance got overshadowed with Bipasha's glamour. However, Dhoom proved to be his first blockbuster where John's performance in a negative role was much appreciated. He also received critical acclaim for the Oscar nominated film Water by Deepa Mehta. His latest film Dostana, in which he co-starred with Abhishek Bachchan did well at the box office. John will soon be turning producer and co-co-produce a film titled 1-800-Love in 2009.
