Aziz Mirza Biography of Aziz Mirza : Aziz Mirza is a Bollywood director and writer who started his career in 1985 after forming a production company Iskra with his brother Saeed Mirza and noted director Kundan Shah. His directorial debut came with the T.V. serial, Circus (1989). The cast included Shahrukh Khan and Ashutosh Gowariker whose film careers took off like a rocket after the show. The first movie Aziz Mirza directed was Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman. It was inspired by the 1955 Raj Kapoor comedy Shree 420. The movie did pretty well at the box office. His next movie, Yes Boss also received good box office collections. In 1999 he started a production company Dreamz Unlimited and the first film to be released under this banner was Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani (2000). The film did not do so well at the box office. In 2003, the banner came out with Chalte Chalte starring Shahrukh Khan and Rani Mukherjee and the movie became an instant hit. After this Aziz Mirza returned only in 2008 with the movie Kismet Konnection starring Shahid Kapoor and Vidya Balan. This long gap was due to the death of his wife.
