Faraaz Kazi (born November 10, 1987) is an Indian author, primarily into mainstream romance. He is best known for his debut novel Truly Madly Deeply

Faraaz, an only child of his parents, was born and brought up in Mumbai. He completed his undergraduate degree in management and eventually obtained an MBA. He is a triple post-graduate with a Masters in Psychology and counseling and another one in Human Resources. Faraaz also has a diploma in Freelance Journalism from The British Institutes and a certificate in Creative Writing from Xaviers Institute of Communication. After XIC, Faraaz began work on his debut novel and eventually published it with Cedar books. Today, Faraaz runs his own soft-skills academy and coaches students in the art of spoken English and creative writing. He also freelances for certain media houses. Faraaz is also a passionate singer and has recorded about nine songs for a major studio. He is also called as \'The Young Marketer\' based on the renowned marketing and books blog he operates.

Truly Madly Deeply... memoirs of a broken heart\'s first love! is Faraaz Kazi\'s debut novel published by Cedar books in November 2010. It is a love story of two teenagers who get drifted apart by misunderstandings and ego-clashes. The book covers the subject of love turning into an obsession that it swallows up everything around it. The book was voted for in the annual Goodreads awards in various categories including Best cover, Best male character and Best romance novel. The book was widely praised by reviewers and sold out its first print run within forty-five days of release.

The promotional campaign of the novel grabbed quite a few eyeballs in the social media circuit and came to the notice of many. Two viral promo trailers; one, a couple of months before release and the second teaser, just a week before release gave the book a unique platform. Kazi\'s efforts on the social media circuit were widely appreciated by many.
