Cecelia Ahern, shot into fame with her very first novel – PS, I Love You. The book deserves every bit of the rave reviews it received. It was made into a motion picture by the same name. She then went about writing several novels along with contributing a number of short stories to various anthologies, for which all her royalties go to charity. She also produced the ABC comedy Samantha Who? starring Christina Applegate. Her writings are often compared to the work of Jessica Adams, Susie Boyt and Jenny Colgan.
Cecelia Ahern was born on September 30, 1981 in Dublin, Ireland. Before starting her writing and producing career, she obtained a degree in Journalism and Media Communications from Griffith College Dublin. She gave birth to her first child with partner David Keoghan, a girl named Robin on December 2009. She was secretly married on 11 June 2010 in County Kildare, Ireland.
